Franklin Township, York County, PA is seeking an organized, motivated and self-starting individual to assist the Township Secretary and Treasurer for up to 20 hours per week. The position is administrative in nature, and the candidate should possess strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills. The employee will assist with the maintenance and preservation of Township records, preparing meeting minutes, website maintenance, and providing administrative support to the Supervisors, receiving and distributing official correspondence, advertising and filing legal notices. The employee will also assist in bookkeeping and the annual budget process. 

The ideal candidate will have experience in municipal government as well as in office administration. The candidate shall have experience working with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as basic knowledge of Quickbooks. 

Salary or wage is commensurate with education, skills and relevant experience. Franklin Township Vacancies – DAA


A regional seat is available on the York County Planning Commission covering Franklin Township that expires at the end of the year. The process to fill those seats includes informing the municipalities within the region that applications are being accepted for appointment consideration. Regional representatives must be a resident of one of the municipalities within the region. Residents wishing to be considered for appointment should visit the Planning Commission website at to download and submit an application or complete one online.
